LoudUp privacy policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026. LoudUp is made by K P Ranjith Kumar (TechManifester), India.
The short version
LoudUp does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal data. The app has no internet permission, no ads, no analytics and no account.
What stays on your phone
Your sound settings (boost level, equalizer, presets, per-app and per-output sounds) are saved only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Permissions and why they are used
- Audio settings and foreground service: to apply the volume boost and equalizer to device sound and keep it running while you listen.
- Display over other apps (optional): to show the floating volume control. You turn it on yourself and can turn it off any time.
- Usage access (optional): to see the name of the app that is open so LoudUp can apply the sound you saved for it. The app name is used on your device only and is never stored or sent anywhere.
- Installed app list (optional): shown in the "Add an app" picker, on your device only.
- Notifications: to show the "boost is on" notice and hearing reminders.
- Run at startup: to turn the boost back on after your phone restarts.
Purchases
If you buy LoudUp Pro, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. LoudUp does not receive your card or payment details.
Children
LoudUp is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
Listening safely
Loud sound for long periods can damage hearing and speakers. Use the safe limit in the app.
